Can we get fireworks at every wedding please?!!!Īnd finally, 5. To Amélie’s mum, I’m sorry I stood them in front of the closed Butchers store when we had a stunning French church behind us, but I couldn’t help myself. Amélie, and more specifically Amélie’s parents, you guys can move!!!! If I had an award for the best dancers I’ve seen at a wedding, I’d be posting it to you right now!!!ģ. Steve, your 20 minute battle to get your shoes on will stay with me for many many years to come, but it was totally worth it, they looked absolutely mega mate!!! I’m sat here smiling whilst I remember your struggle! The struggle was real folks!Ģ. and I only met these guys the day before, so I can only imagine how good the day must have been to their friends and family, some of whom had travelled from the other side of the globe! On reflection, it was one the craziest and most brilliant weeks of my career as a wedding photographer. *goes off to google ‘Humdinger’* – yep, that’s the word I need for this Chateau La Durantie wedding!!!Ī few weeks back was a first for me, it was the first time I flew to France for consecutive weddings, and naturally when you return from such a trip, people ask you ‘how was it’, and honestly, I’ve struggled to find the right words.
